with more than 40 suppliers producing a wide range of
elliotis and taeda pine products.
Strategically located in the heart of the forestry and production area,
Carber brings a customized service to all the producers in the area.
Our strategy is the specialization in specie and production by region,
focusing our efforts exclusively in elliotis / taeda pine
of Argentinean’s suppliers.
Our services include:
- Selection of suppliers: We select the most qualified
suppliers to cover any request, taking in account the specific product
details required by the client.
- Negotiation: We cover all the details before, during
and after the negotiations. This enables us to bring the right product
at the right price. Our most valuable contribution to this merger is in
the aspects regarding to the grading. We have developed with the suppliers
the Carber Specifications in
order to avoid any discrepancy between what customer needs and suppliers
produce.
- Quality Control at Origin: We personally check every
order at the supply mill and prepare a report to the customer before the
shipment embarks.
- Programs: Due to the fact that in Argentina we have
mainly small and medium size companies, Carber has done extensive due
diligence on the mills that we deal with in order to guarantee the capability,
quality and capacity to match the customer’s needs.
- Total Quality: Our main goal is to avoid any claim
or discrepancy and guarantee to the customer that they will receive exactly
what they ordered. That is why we expend time in requesting detailed information
in order to train and manage the quality control at sawmills.
